Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across consultancy and engineering functions. This includes sourcing, evaluating, and onboarding candidates for technical and professional roles, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, project timelines, and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment: Manage sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation for engineering and consultancy roles.
- Technical role definition: Collaborate with engineering managers to draft accurate job descriptions for niche roles (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, software, GIS engineers).
- Sourcing strategy: Use LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, and talent mapping to build pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
- Candidate evaluation: Coordinate technical tests, structured interviews, and competency-based assessments.
- Employer branding: Promote the company’s consultancy expertise and engineering achievements to attract top talent.
- Campus hiring: Lead graduate recruitment programs, internships, and early-career initiatives.
- Data-driven recruitment: Track KPIs such as time-to-fill, source-of-hire, and quality-of-hire to optimize processes.
- Workforce planning: Partner with project managers and HR to forecast hiring needs based on consultancy projects and engineering deliverables.
- Global & niche talent: Source specialized talent across regions, ensuring compliance with relocation and labor laws.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering roles and consultancy project structures.
- Expertise in ATS systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever).
- Proficiency in technical sourcing methods (Boolean search, GitHub, engineering forums).
- Excellent stakeholder management and advisory skills.
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance in India and international markets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in consultancy or engineering industries.
