ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare proposals that are compliant, compelling, and completed on schedule.
· Develop cost effective and innovative water/wastewater treatment process designs that meet client design basis and requirements.
· Ensure technical proposals are developed with accurate deliverables such as design basis, performance guarantees, technical deviations, PFDs, P&IDs, GAs, project schedule and any other drawings, forms or documentation.
· Make process and instrumentation Diagrams of ETP, STP, UF, WTP & DM Plant.
· Responsible for tender study, understanding the specifications and requirements, and making pre-bid queries.
· Continuously learn and improve knowledge on process technologies and designs.
· Design, engineer, and analyse physicochemical separations processes as water pre-treatment systems for downstream desalination operations (specifically precipitation reactors, clarifiers, filter presses, ion exchange, and filtration pre-treatment).
· Develop relationships with vendors and contractors to improve buying power and increase competitiveness of proposals.
· Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Commercial, Engineering, Field Services, Finance) when required to develop technical and commercial proposals on time and with the highest work quality.
· Ensure commercial proposals are developed with accurate commercial deviations and competitive project costing.
· Ensure risk assessment is performed for each firm proposal to capture commercial risks associated with estimates and unknowns.
· Participate and present in customer meetings and design reviews if required (Bid Clarifications).
· Work with Project, Engineering, and Field Services teams to ensure detailed process engineering deliverables (e.g., design basis, process design calculations, PFD, P&IDs, HMBs, equipment lists, control philosophy) achieve projects timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
· Provide technical support for commissioning / site project related activities where and when required.
· Provide process support for O&M contracts including optimization and troubleshooting when required.
· Maintain good communication with all stakeholders and provide visibility on direction and results.
· Perform at least one project per year that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of generating proposals or undertaking detailed process engineering.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's Degree / Post Degree in Engineering: Chemical or Environmental is preferred.
· B.E / M Tech in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engg.
· Driving License: Must.
REQUIRED SKILLS (explicitly call out must-have and nice-to-have skills expectations)

Must-have Skills:
· At least 4 – 7 years of work experience (with a minimum of 5 years in water/wastewater treatment process engineering).
· Previous experience designing and implementing physicochemical separations processes, including precipitation reactors, clarifiers, HRSCC, filter presses, ion exchange, and filtration.
· Knowledge of the integration of process to mechanical equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and automation.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office: Word and Excel.
· Excellent analytical thinking, interpersonal/communication skills, writing, and problem-solving capacities.
· Valid Driving License.
Nice-to-have Skills:
· Previous experience designing RO systems / Desalination systems including pre-treatment.
· Practical experience with commissioning or operations troubleshooting of water/wastewater treatment plants.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹35,989.60 per month
