Objective
We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Talent Acquisition to lead recruitment efforts
across plant and corporate functions in the pharmaceutical domain for API. This individual
contributor role demands strong stakeholder management, innovative thinking, and the ability to drive structured hiring processes without formal systems. The ideal candidate will also contribute to succession planning and manpower budgeting, ensuring long-term talent
sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition
* Own end-to-end recruitment for niche and critical roles across R&D, Manufacturing,
Regulatory, and Corporate functions for API business.
* Draft compelling job descriptions by deeply understanding requisitions and role
expectations.
* Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis to support competitive hiring
decisions.
* Build and maintain strong networks within the pharmaceutical industry to source rare
talent.
2. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Manage complex stakeholder relationships, especially with senior plant and corporate
leaders.
* Handle difficult hiring scenarios with limited candidate availability and high urgency.
* Negotiate effectively with recruitment consultants to optimize cost and quality of hires
3. Process Excellence Without Systems
* Drive a structured, SOP-based recruitment process despite the absence of ATS or HRMS
tools.
* Maintain manual trackers and ensure compliance with internal hiring protocols.
* Prepare monthly and quarterly recruitment dashboards including:
o Monthly Joinees
o Quarterly Hiring Trends
o Open vs. Closed Positions
4. Succession Planning & Workforce Strategy
* Collaborate with HR leadership to identify critical roles and build succession pipelines.
* Support annual manpower budgeting by forecasting hiring needs and aligning with
business growth plans.
* Provide insights and proposals to improve recruitment experience and employer
branding.
5. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Introduce new ideas and proposals to enhance candidate experience, sourcing strategies,
and recruitment efficiency.
* Stay updated with industry best practices and bring fresh perspectives to the hiring
process.
Total Experience
* 8 to 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
Qualification
* MBA in Human Resources or equivalent.
* Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field preferred.
Key Skills
* Strong understanding of pharma hiring dynamics and niche talent pools.
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
