Script Writer & Social Media Handler
We are looking for a creative and trend-aware Script Writer & Social Media Executive who can create engaging, informative, and platform-friendly content, particularly for the healthcare/medical space.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of doctor-led content, while also being highly aware of current social media trends, formats, hooks, and audience behaviour.
Key ResponsibilitiesScript Writing & Social Media Handler
- Write engaging and informative scripts for doctors, and healthcare professionals, Create both short-form and long-form video scripts for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other relevant channels.
- Understand and accurately use medical terminology while keeping content simple, engaging, and audience-friendly.
- Develop strong hooks, storytelling formats, CTAs, and content structures that improve audience retention and engagement.
- Convert complex medical topics into content that is easy to understand without compromising accuracy.
- Write content in different tones and formats depending on the doctor, topic, audience, and platform.
- Research relevant topics and identify interesting angles for healthcare content.
- Create content that is educational, relatable, engaging, and aligned with the brand's communication style.
- Original writing is required — no ChatGPT/AI-generated scripts.
Social Media Management
- Stay updated with current social media trends, viral formats, trending topics, reels, audio, hooks, captions, and content styles.
- Plan and schedule content across all relevant social media channels.
- Maintain and manage the social media content calendar.
- Write engaging, trendy, and platform-appropriate captions.
- Create relevant and effective hashtags for posts and campaigns.
- Coordinate content publishing according to the planned calendar and campaign requirements.
- Identify opportunities to adapt current trends into relevant healthcare/doctor content.
- Monitor content performance and engagement and use insights to improve future content.
- Ensure consistency in tone, messaging, branding, and publishing across platforms.
Required Skills
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and communication.
- Ability to write medical and healthcare content with confidence.
- Good understanding of medical terminology.
- Strong knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Strong awareness of current social media trends and content formats.
- Ability to write attention-grabbing hooks and engaging scripts.
- Understanding of short-form content and audience retention.
- Good research skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet content deadlines.
- Strong sense of creativity and originality.
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience in script writing, content writing, copywriting, or social media management, preferably in the healthcare/medical industry.
Important Requirement
Candidates should be comfortable with original, human-written content and should not rely on ChatGPT or AI tools for script writing.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
