We are looking for a Database Administrator with 5–7 years of experience, including at least 3 years of strong hands-on experience in MongoDB administration. You should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, with a Master's degree or relevant certification being an added advantage. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing large-scale MongoDB production environments, including installation, configuration, replication, sharding, scaling, performance tuning, query and index optimization, high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery. Strong knowledge of database security, authentication, access control, encryption and data protection is required, along with experience using Python/Bash for automation and monitoring tools such as MongoDB Ops Manager, Nagios or equivalent. You should be capable of working closely with development teams on schema design and data modelling, troubleshooting complex database issues, preparing performance reports and maintaining technical documentation. Familiarity with Digital India initiatives, e-Governance frameworks and Government IT policies, standards and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage. MongoDB Certified DBA Associate or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
