Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Industrial Electrician to support electrical maintenance and troubleshooting activities in our fabrication and assembly plant. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing machine electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring smooth operation of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of industrial electrical systems, and the ability to work effectively in a production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
·Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
·Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in industrial machines and equipment.·Identify issues related to motors, drives, control panels, sensors, relays, and electrical circuits.·Perform corrective maintenance to minimize machine downtime.·Attend machine breakdowns and restore operations quickly and safely.
·Machine & Equipment Support:
·Maintain electrical systems of fabrication, assembly, and production machines.·Assist in installation, commissioning, and relocation of machines and equipment.·Monitor machine performance and identify potential electrical issues.
·Preventive Maintenance:
·Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on electrical systems and machinery.·Inspect wiring, connections, control panels, and electrical components regularly.·Replace damaged or worn-out electrical components when required.
·Electrical Installation & Wiring:
·Carry out electrical wiring, cable routing, and panel connections.·Install switches, breakers, contactors, relays, sensors, and other electrical components.·Ensure proper termination, grounding, and cable management practices.
·Drawing & Circuit Interpretation:
·Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), and control wiring diagrams.·Understand motor control circuits and basic PLC-related connections.
·Testing & Inspection:
·Use testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.·Perform continuity, voltage, and basic electrical safety checks.·Ensure machines and electrical systems function safely and correctly.
·Safety & Compliance:
·Follow electrical safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) practices.·Ensure compliance with company safety standards and regulations.·Maintain safe working conditions and proper use of PPE.
·Documentation & Reporting:
·Maintain maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and service records.·Report recurring electrical issues and recommend corrective actions.·Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance checklists and records.
·Coordination & Support:
·Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams during breakdowns and repairs.·Support continuous improvement initiatives related to machine reliability and uptime.
·Support utility maintenance and common electrical work within the facility.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
