Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior API Developer to design and own the shared backend API platform supporting multiple Android applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable REST APIs.
- Define API contracts, versioning and documentation standards.
- Design database schemas and optimise queries.
- Implement authentication and authorisation systems.
- Build rate limiting, validation, idempotency and audit logging.
- Optimise API performance and implement caching.
- Manage database performance, indexing and backups.
- Review backend code and mentor developers.
- Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and infrastructure.
Required Skills
- Strong backend experience with Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, Python/Django or PHP/Laravel.
- Advanced SQL with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Strong REST API development experience.
- Knowledge of API security and OWASP API Security.
- Experience with Redis and background jobs/message queues.
- Docker and Git-based deployment experience.
- Experience scaling backend systems.
Preferred
- Razorpay, PayU, Cashfree, UPI/NPCI experience.
- Microservices and API gateway experience.
- MongoDB/NoSQL.
- Database administration experience.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
