Job Description: Content Writer, Pursuits & Proposals Support ROLE DESCRIPTION The Content Writer, Pursuits & Proposals Support, is responsible for managing the procurement questionnaire response process, editing existing content for the Loopio Proposal Wizard Solution and the FAQs Database, and for writing net-new proposal materials readily available on the Canadian Pursuits & Proposals Portal. SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the procurement questionnaire response process — Input questionnaires in the Proposal Wizard Solution and locate answers to documented questions — Review and edit each response to meet the client’s requirements — Follow up with stakeholders to obtain information on non-documented questions — Tailor accordingly to address the expectations — Work with the In-Charge Manager to close the loop in the Loopio Proposal Wizard Solution — Act as one of the Go-to-Persons on FAQs and Proposal Content — Responsible to respond to daily requests related to content — Take the lead in obtaining a valid answer on non-documented responses — Edit as necessary and document in Loopio and the FAQ database — Update content in the Loopio Proposal Solution and FAQ database — Review and proactively edit on a daily basis — Validate proposed answers to non-documented questions at the weekly editorial meeting prior to posting — Post within the two database sources, and when applicable, tag for update as part of the scheduled review process — Develop proposal materials for the P&P portal — Source proactively P&P Central and the Canadian, Global, UK, US and Australian portals on Kworld — Discuss and validate findings at the weekly editorial meeting — Adapt the proposal materials to the Canadian marketplace — Assist with template-related projects — Support the development of proposal templates KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIRED Strong English writing skills (grammar and spelling) and impeccable spoken English — Experience in writing proposals or content related to proposals — Good understanding of the RFP process and business issues Excellent project management skills to effectively manage multiple, disparate projects through completion Quick study and self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision — Detail oriented and attentive to process and procedures Ability to interact effectively and proactively with peers and professionals at all level of the organization — Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND — Undergraduate degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or other related field — Master’s degree in Business Administration
