Designation: Quality Control Executive
Department: Quality Control
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raw & Packaging Material Testing
Perform testing of raw and packaging materials as per defined specifications
Approve or reject materials based on quality standards
2. In-Process & Finished Product Testing
Conduct in-process checks and final product testing
Perform routine QC tests such as pH, viscosity, appearance, and microbiological analysis
Approve batches after final quality clearance
3. Stability & Shelf-Life Monitoring
Conduct and document real-time and accelerated stability studies
Monitor product shelf life and ensure compliance with standards
4. Microbiological Testing
Perform microbiological analysis to ensure products are free from pathogens (e.g., E. coli, Salmonella, Pseudomonas)
Ensure compliance with BIS norms
5. Instrument Calibration & Maintenance
Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments (pH meter, viscometer, balance, etc.) as per schedule
Ensure proper functioning and accuracy of equipment
6. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records including test reports, COAs, and SOPs
Ensure compliance with ISO 22716, BIS standards, and internal quality systems
Maintain proper documentation and traceability
7. Audit & Regulatory Support
Assist in internal and external audits
Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements
8. Training & Development
Participate in GMP/GLP training programs
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Education: B.Sc/M.Sc (Chemistry/Microbiology) or B.Pharm
Experience: 1–3 years in cosmetics / personal care industry
