Job Summary
The Pellet Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining pellet mill equipment to produce high-quality animal feed pellets in accordance with production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pellet mill machinery, conditioners, conveyors, and coolers
- Adjust machine settings (steam, temperature, pressure, die speed) to achieve correct pellet quality
- Monitor pellet quality including size, durability, moisture, and appearance
- Start up, shut down, and troubleshoot pellet mill operations
- Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance
- Identify and report mechanical problems or abnormal operations to supervisors or maintenance staff
- Follow production schedules and ensure minimal downtime and waste
- Record production data, downtime, and quality checks accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the pellet mill area (housekeeping)
- Comply with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Follow feed formulation and biosecurity procedures to avoid contamination

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
