About the Role
We are looking for a highly meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant with a solid foundation in core commerce to join our finance team.
In this role, precision is everything. You will be responsible for ensuring our financial records mirror operational reality. Your primary focus will be managing complete sales and purchase workflows in Tally, executing flawless ledger reconciliations, and using MS Excel to cross-verify complex data streams, specifically matching sales orders against final invoices.
Key Responsibilities
- Transaction Management: Handle precise, high-volume Sales and Purchase entries in Tally.
- Order & Invoice Matching: Rigorously reconcile Sales Orders with Invoices to ensure accurate billing, pricing, and fulfillment.
- Ledger Reconciliation: Perform routine, thorough reconciliation of party ledgers, customer accounts, and vendor statements to eliminate discrepancies.
- Data Management: Utilize MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Sum-ifs, pivot tables) to manage and clean large datasets.
- System Accuracy: Maintain a zero-error rate by double-checking records before system entry.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Strictly a Commerce graduate/postgraduate (B. Com / M. Com) with an unbreakable grasp of debit/credit principles.
- Experience: 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
- Software Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9) and MS Excel. You must be comfortable handling data manipulation and spreadsheets daily.
- Core Trait: Compulsive attention to detail.
