Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced International Business Development Executive to join our growing pharmaceutical company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving international sales, expanding the company’s presence in global markets, and establishing long-term partnerships with clients, distributors, and healthcare organizations. This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify new international markets for the company’s pharmaceutical products and devise strategies for market entry.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve growth objectives in targeted global markets.
- Regulatory Compliance: Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements for product registration and market entry.
- Business Negotiations: Lead negotiations for pricing, distribution agreements, and contracts with international partners.
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for new product introductions.
- Sales Forecasting: Monitor sales performance and provide accurate forecasts and reports on business activities in international markets.
- Product Launches: Coordinate and manage international product launches, including creating marketing strategies, training materials, and sales support tools.
- Travel: Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences, and meetings with clients.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in international business development, sales, or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the global pharmaceutical market, regulatory requirements, and market dynamics.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies in international markets.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales software.
- Language: Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
