Process customer payments, maintain a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift, and issue official receipts.
Very good knowledge in journal entries and books of accounts.
Working knowledge in Tally ERP is desirable.
Prepare accurate vehicle or spare-part sales invoices and service bills in accordance with state and manufacturer taxes.
Reconcile daily transaction records with bank statements and dealership management software.
Handle customer billing queries, explain invoice charges, and provide professional service.
Assist the accounting team by processing accounts receivable, following up on pending dues, and tracking AMC or service renewals.
Usually 1 to 2 years of prior experience in automobile, two-wheeler, or retail billing.
A degree in commerce or accounting (B. Com) or Commerce back ground is highly preferred.
Familiarity with accounting ERPs (like Tally) and dealership management software.
Fluency in Malayalam, English, and knowledge of local customer service etiquettes.
