About the Role
Vinde Tradex is expanding its wholesale garment business in Northeast India and is looking for a highly responsible, disciplined, and result-oriented Warehouse & Operations Manager to establish and manage our warehouse operations in Guwahati.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling inventory, warehouse operations, dispatch, staff management, reporting, and process implementation while ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
* Set up and manage day-to-day warehouse operations.
* Organize warehouse layout for maximum storage efficiency.
* Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper storage standards.
* Ensure smooth receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Inventory Management
* Verify all incoming stock against invoices and packing lists.
* Count and inspect all goods received.
* Identify shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate inventory records with 100% stock accountability.
* Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconciliation.
* Implement and maintain inventory control systems.
Dispatch & Logistics* Coordinate order picking, packing, and dispatch.
* Verify quantities before dispatch.
* Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners.
* Ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
Team Management
* Recruit and supervise warehouse staff when required.
* Train employees on warehouse processes and SOPs.
* Allocate daily work and monitor productivity.
* Maintain staff attendance and discipline.
Reporting
Submit a Daily Operations Report including:
* Opening Stock
* Closing Stock
* Goods Received
* Goods Dispatched
* Pending Orders
* Damaged/Returned Items
* Staff Attendance
* Daily Operational Issues
* Cash Expenses (if any)
Process Improvement
* Develop efficient warehouse systems and SOPs.
* Minimize inventory errors and stock losses.
* Improve operational efficiency and workflow.
* Ensure proper documentation and compliance.

Preferred Experience
* 2–5 years of experience in sales or operations management.
* Experience in garment, wholesale, retail, FMCG, or logistics industries preferred.
* Experience handling medium to large inventory.
* Ability to work independently and build warehouse processes from the ground up.
Educational Qualification
* Graduate in any discipline.
* Additional certifications in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Operations will be an advantage.
