Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Construction Head to lead and manage the company's construction division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution, ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, quality excellence, and operational efficiency across residential, commercial, mixed-use, MSB, and layout development projects. This is a strategic leadership role for a professional who can build high-performing teams, implement robust systems, and deliver projects aligned with the organization's vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the complete construction division, ensuring efficient execution of multiple projects.
- Oversee planning, execution, quality, safety, budgeting, and timely project delivery.
- Build, mentor, and lead cross-functional construction teams, including project managers, site engineers, planning, QS, procurement, quality, and safety personnel.
- Drive project planning, scheduling, cost control, contractor management, and performance monitoring.
- Review drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and project plans to minimize delays and cost escalations.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, statutory regulations, safety requirements, and company policies.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless project execution.
- Resolve site challenges, technical issues, resource constraints, and execution bottlenecks proactively.
- Monitor procurement, material planning, contractor productivity, billing, and project progress.
- Implement systems for reporting, risk management, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement.
- Support leadership with project status updates, cost analysis, risk assessments, and execution strategies.
- Ensure successful project completion, snag rectification, handover readiness, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); additional qualifications in Construction or Project Management are preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in construction management within the real estate or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience handling residential, commercial, mixed-use, MSB, mid-rise, and large-scale construction projects.
- Strong expertise in project planning, structural works, finishing, MEP coordination, quality control, cost management, and safety compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects, teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A proactive, disciplined, and result-oriented professional with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
