Baba Quartz is hiring skilled Machine Operators for our engineered quartz slab manufacturing unit. Candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in batching, pigment preparation, mixing, distributing, pressing, oven curing, CNC cutting, EOT crane handling, polishing, and finishing processes.
The role requires production experience, machine handling knowledge, attention to quality, and strict compliance with safety standards.
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring machinery used in the production of engineered quartz slabs. This includes batching, mixing, pressing, curing, polishing, and finishing processes. The operator ensures production efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up machines according to specifications and production requirements
- Operate machinery safely and efficiently to meet production targets
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting
- Report any malfunctions or defects to supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
- Record production data and maintain logs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination
