Academic Counselor (Tamil & English)

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team in Bangalore. This role is ideal for candidates with a medical or healthcare background who are fluent in both Tamil and English and enjoy guiding students in making informed academic decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and understand their educational background, interests, and career goals.
- Provide accurate information regarding academic programs, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and timelines.
- Handle student enquiries through phone calls, messaging platforms, email, and other communication channels.
- Assist students throughout the admission and onboarding process.
- Review and verify submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective students and parents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth student experience.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality of student information.
Eligibility
- BDS or a degree in a medical or healthcare-related field.
- Fluency in Tamil and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and counseling skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and parents.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working from the office in Bangalore.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in academic counseling, admissions, healthcare, or education is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of higher education admissions and student guidance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools is a plus.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
