About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with 0–2 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with our creative, marketing, and content teams to produce high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience. Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into compelling, engaging content for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Add music, voiceovers, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance videos
- Cut, trim, and organize clips while maintaining continuity and storytelling flow
- Collaborate with content creators, producers, designers, and marketers to meet creative goals
- Export videos in various formats suitable for web, mobile, and social media
- Maintain organized project files and backups
- Take feedback constructively and make timely revisions
- Stay updated on the latest editing trends, techniques, and tools
Requirements:
- 0–2 years of experience in video editing (internships, freelance, or academic projects count)
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Basic knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or motion graphics is a plus
- A portfolio or reel showcasing editing skills (can include student or personal projects)
- Good understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and transitions
- Attention to detail and a creative eye
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
- Experience with social media content formats and trends
- Understanding of color grading, audio mixing, or motion graphics
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO and video optimization
