Accountant – Billing & Accounts
Kurikkal Furnishing Private Limited is expanding to Kochi and is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our new branch.
Location: Edathala, Aluva, Kochi (Preference will be given to candidates residing nearby)
Job Summary
The Accountant will be responsible for managing billing, recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting coordination between the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order processing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate order receipts and share them with the operations team upon confirmation of customer orders.
- Prepare and generate invoices
- Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
- Maintain proper documentation of sales, purchases, expenses, and other financial records.
- Handle billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
- Verify order details, pricing, and quantities before billing.
- Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to ensure billing accuracy.
- Maintain cash, bank, and collection records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and customer balances.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping of accounting documents.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing required financial data.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Reconcile customer and supplier accounts.
- Support inventory-related accounting and stock reconciliation.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory documentation (if applicable).
- Perform general administrative and accounting tasks as assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with accounting software, preferably cloud-based systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Training
Selected candidates must be willing to undergo 1–2 weeks (up to 1 month, if required) of training at our Calicut branch before joining the Kochi office.
