Summary:
As a Security Architect, a typical day involves designing and establishing a comprehensive cloud security framework that aligns with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role requires overseeing the development and documentation of security architectures, ensuring seamless integration with business needs. The position also includes guiding the transition of security controls into managed cloud security operations, coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain robust security postures and support ongoing performance targets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Global IP&G Information Management Resource conducts daily Global IP&G operations and drives IP&G workstreams and projects to completion.
- Serves as the central global SME operational resource for information protection & governance, including advisory and guidance to stakeholders and partners on information governance, management, and protection.
- Leads key IP&G workstreams and ongoing projects:
(1) M365 Information Protection (including DLP)
(2) Regional Lv3 System Gap Remediation
(3) Global Information Governance Solution/Tool Implementation
(4) Global Platform Information Protection Enhancements (AWS, Informatica, Databricks, Box).
- Coordinates with Global IP&G Program Manager, Regional IT Leads, External Partner (FTI), and other GBDT/EARA functions on global, regional, and local information protection & governance activities.
- Escalates risks and issues to the Global IT Lead.
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the design and implementation of security strategies that support cloud environments.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure security requirements are met.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their understanding of security architecture and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Endpoint Extended Detection and Response.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design and implement security controls within cloud platforms.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in cloud environments.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate security threats and develop appropriate responses.
Qualifications:
Full-time dedicated resource (100 , 40+ hours per week).
Expertise in information governance and management, specifically data mapping, classification, and retention/disposal.
Experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, eDiscovery, and the pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Hands-on experience with M365 Purview Information Protection, Informatica EDC, OneTrust, Exterro, and/or other related
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
