Thanal Counselling Centre is looking for an experienced and compassionate Psychologist to join our team at our Kochi branch.
Position Details

- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
- Experience Required: Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience
Eligibility
Candidates must have:
- A Master’s degree in Psychology from a recognised university
- Minimum 3 years of experience in counselling, psychological services, mental health, or a closely related setting
- Strong counselling, communication, interpersonal, and case-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Professionalism, empathy, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical standards
- Ability to maintain appropriate client records and documentation
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual counselling and psychological support sessions
- Understand client concerns through structured interviews, case histories, and appropriate assessments
- Develop suitable counselling and intervention plans based on individual client needs
- Provide support for concerns including stress, anxiety, emotional difficulties, relationship issues, academic/career concerns, and other psychological challenges within the professional scope of the role
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, case notes, and follow-up documentation
- Monitor client progress and modify interventions where appropriate
- Provide psychoeducation to clients and families when required
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, workshops, awareness programmes, and other organisational initiatives
- Maintain high standards of professional ethics, confidentiality, and client care
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
