Role Overview
The Senior Executive (Finance) will be responsible for managing core finance operations, including invoicing, financial reporting, compliance, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all processes. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain strong financial governance, regulatory compliance, and seamless operations.
Key responsibilities
o Own the end-to-end invoicing lifecycle, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with enterprise contracts and statutory requirements.
o Manage high-volume invoicing cycles, especially during month-end, while maintaining zero-error standards.
o Execute financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support the organization's financial objectives and ensure compliance with regulations.
o Assist in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
o Manage and ensure compliance with all statutory regulations including but not limited to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Provident Fund (PF).
o Monitor, analyze and maintain MIS of financial statements, reconciliation of statements, prepare invoices and financial statements, reports, etc.
o Contrive cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
o Implement effective internal controls to safeguard assets, manage risks, and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and records.
o Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
o Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen invoicing efficiency, controls, and stakeholder experience.
o Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and changes in financial regulations to ensure the organization's financial practices are in line with the latest standards.
Skills/Qualifications
o Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field (CA Inter / similar preferred).
o 2-4 years of experience in invoicing, billing, or accounts receivable.
o Strong understanding of invoicing processes and accounting basics.
o Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
o High attention to detail and accuracy.
o Experience working with bank is an added advantage.
o Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
o Ability to handle month-end pressure and meet deadlines.
o Problem-solving approach for resolving billing issues.
o Advanced proficiency in MS Office, G Workspace.
