About Us
We are a premium European Continental restaurant specializing in French and Italian cuisine, focused on quality, consistency, and authentic cooking techniques. We are looking for an experienced and responsible Chef de Partie to lead a kitchen section and maintain high culinary standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for managing a kitchen section (Pasta, Grill, Sauce, or Hot Kitchen)
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Prepare and cook dishes according to standard recipes and chef’s instructions
- Supervise, train, and guide Commis chefs
- Plan and manage mise-en-place and daily preparation
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Control food cost, portioning, and minimize wastage
- Coordinate closely with Sous Chef and Head Chef for smooth kitchen operations
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as Chef de Partie or Senior Commis in a European / Continental kitchen
- Strong knowledge of European cooking techniques, especially French and Italian cuisine
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Strong understanding of sauces, pasta, grills, stocks, and basic plating techniques
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, professional kitchen
- Disciplined, organized, and quality-focused
- Good knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
