Job Purpose
This person holds ultimate accountability for the end-to-end execution, regulatory integrity, and strategic direction of the Mutual Fund accounting business. This leadership role unifies NAV production, complex asset valuation, and statutory SEBI/AMFI reporting into a single, high-performing ecosystem. The focus is on macro client relationships, platform scalability within Multifonds, and regulatory risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
· Strategic Business Leadership: Direct the macro operations of the three core sub-verticals (NAV Production, Valuations, and Regulatory Reporting) to ensure zero operational gaps or delivery defaults.
· SEBI / AMFI Regulatory Liaison: Maintain ultimate accountability for regulatory health, interface with auditors and regulators during inspections, and proactively adapt operations to new regulatory mandates.
· System Roadmap & Multifonds Transformation: Drive enterprise-level technology upgrades, automation strategies, and core infrastructure changes within the Multifonds environment.
· Enterprise Risk & Disaster Recovery: Own the business continuity planning (BCP) framework, ensure robust disaster recovery protocols, and sign off on high-impact incident reports or NAV compensation protocols.
· Talent Governance & Succession Planning: Foster a culture of compliance and high performance; mentor the Senior Manager tier and design robust succession pipelines for critical roles.
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Education: Chartered Accountant or MBA (Finance) or CS or CMA or M.Com.
· Experience: 8 to 10 years in Fund Accounting Operations In India with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity.
· Platform Mastery: Enterprise-level understanding of Multifonds deployment, scalability bottlenecks, and workflow optimization frameworks.
· Industry Standing: Deep credibility and a strong track record of managing Fund Accounting operations for Mutual Funds in India
· Leadership Traits: Exceptional stakeholder management, crisis decision-making skills, and the ability to maintain operational calm under extreme market-volatility events
Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹3,600,000.00 per year
