Job Summary
Stylam Industries Ltd. is looking for a Utility Engineer to manage, operate, and maintain plant utility systems to ensure uninterrupted production. The role involves handling utilities such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers, power distribution, water treatment, and related systems while ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain utility systems including boilers, air compressors, chillers, cooling towers, and DG sets
- Monitor utility parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, power consumption) for optimal performance
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, water, power, and HVAC to the plant
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of utility equipment
- Manage water treatment systems (RO, softener, ETP/STP if applicable)
- Maintain records related to utility consumption, maintenance, and compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety norms, statutory requirements, and pollution control standards
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
- Support energy-saving initiatives and cost optimization projects
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of industrial utility systems
- Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and power distribution
- Awareness of safety standards and statutory compliances
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in shifts
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrical & Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- 2–6 years of experience in utility operations (manufacturing industry preferred)
Preferred Industry
- Laminate / Plywood / FMCG / Chemical / Manufacturing Industry
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
