About the Role
Hesa is looking for experienced and entrepreneurial District Managers to drive business growth across Nalgonda and Warangal districts. The ideal candidate should have a strong FMCG and retail background, experience managing district operations, and ownership of P&L performance.
In addition to sales and distribution management, the role will be responsible for expanding the Hesaathi Model by onboarding retail stores, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and local community partners to strengthen Hesa's rural commerce network.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales, revenue, and profitability across the assigned district.
- Manage district-level P&L performance and business targets.
- Expand Hesa's market presence through distributor and retailer network development.
- Lead and mentor sales, operations, and field teams.
- Execute the Hesaathi Model by onboarding and activating:
- Retail Stores
- Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
- Rural Entrepreneurs and Community Partners
- Build strong relationships with retailers, SHGs, FPOs, and local stakeholders.
- Monitor inventory, distribution efficiency, and market coverage.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships within the district.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and customer requirements.
- Ensure achievement of sales, onboarding, and operational KPIs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate; MBA preferred.
- 5 years of experience in FMCG, Retail, Distribution, Rural Sales, or Channel Management.
- Proven experience handling P&L responsibilities.
- Strong network-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with retailers, distributors, rural markets, or community-based organizations is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and execution capabilities.
Willingness to travel extensively within the district.
