The Quality Executive for CSD (Canteen Stores Department) in Varanasi will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality, operational efficiency, and compliance within the supply chain and retail operations. This role involves implementing and maintaining quality management systems, conducting regular inspections and audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Oversee and manage all quality control and quality assurance activities for products handled by the CSD in Varanasi, ensuring adherence to established standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of incoming goods, storage facilities, and outgoing shipments to identify and address any deviations or non-conformities.
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality management systems (QMS) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) relevant to product handling, storage, and distribution.
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Analyze quality data, identify trends, and prepare detailed reports on quality performance, recommending corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, and store management teams to address quality issues, implement improvements, and ensure seamless operations.
- Train and educate staff on quality control procedures, best practices, and the importance of maintaining high-quality standards across all operations.
- Manage customer feedback related to product quality, investigate complaints, and work towards effective resolution and prevention of recurrence.
- Ensure all documentation related to quality control, audits, and corrective actions is accurately maintained and readily accessible.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to retail and supply chain operations.
