We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Associate Intern to support our sales, distribution, and business development activities. This internship provides hands-on exposure to lead generation, customer acquisition, distributor coordination, sales operations, and market research.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify business leads through research, calling, emails, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
- Contact prospective customers and schedule meetings for business development activities.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with leads, customers, and business partners.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, quotations, and business correspondence.
- Coordinate with Super Stockists (SS), Distributors (DB), and channel partners for sales and operational requirements.
- Follow up on orders, stock availability, distributor documentation, and sales updates.
- Coordinate with logistics and internal teams to ensure timely product dispatch and delivery.
- Maintain customer, distributor, and lead databases along with CRM records.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Support Amazon, Flipkart, and other marketplace-related operations as required.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business development reports (MIS).
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication in English and Hindi.
- Confidence in making outbound calls and interacting with customers.
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic understanding of sales, marketing, and business development concepts.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing) students or recent graduates preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Interest in Business Development, Sales, Lead Generation, and Sales Coordination.
- FMCG, Beverage, Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods, or Retail industry exposure will be an added advantage.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
