Part-Time Mass Media Teacher (Grades 9 & 10 – ICSE)

About the Role
P.G. Garodia School (ICSE) is looking for a passionate and experienced Part-Time Mass Media Teacher to teach Grades 9 & 10 (ICSE). The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect theoretical concepts with current media trends and practical applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mass Media to Grades 9 & 10 (ICSE).
- Conduct classes as per the scheduled timetable (Monday & Tuesday – 2 hours per day).
- Prepare engaging lesson plans, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- Introduce students to journalism, advertising, public relations, digital media, film, television, and social media.
- Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication through project-based learning.
- Guide students in research work, presentations, and media-related activities.
- Assess student performance and maintain academic records.
- Collaborate with the Academic Coordinator and school leadership for effective curriculum delivery.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an ICSE school.
- Experience teaching Mass Media to Grades 9 & 10 will be preferred.
- Industry experience in journalism, advertising, digital media, content creation, or related fields will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
