Requirements:
- Design and implement wireless architectures using centralized, distributed, and cloud‑managed controller models (e.g., Cisco Catalyst/9800, Aruba Mobility Controllers, Juniper Mist).
- Evaluate controller clustering, redundancy, HA, and scalability models for multi‑site deployments.
- Integrate controllers with authentication, policy enforcement, location services, and network management tools.
- Conduct or review physical site surveys (predictive, passive, and active) for validation and optimization.
- Lead RF planning activities including predictive modeling, spectrum analysis, and signal propagation assessments.
- Define RF profiles and power/channel allocation strategies based on building characteristics, device density, and application requirements.
- Analyze interference, attenuation factors, and client distribution to optimize coverage and performance.
- Develop RF optimization guidelines for indoor, outdoor, high‑density, and mission‑critical environments
- Develop standardized SSID frameworks based on user groups, device types, and enterprise security policies.
- Architect security models including:
§ 802.1X with RADIUS/EAP for secure enterprise access
§ WPA3‑Enterprise/Personal, SAE, OWE
§ Guest Wi‑Fi models with captive portals, segmentation, and bandwidth/security controls
- Implement segmentation using VLANs, dynamic policies, and role‑based access control.
- Conduct or review physical site surveys (predictive, passive, and active) for validation and optimization.
