CNC / VMC Setter & Programmer - Key Expectations / Requirements
- Experience in operating and setting CNC/VMC machines
- Strong knowledge of G-code & M-code programming
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in fixture setting and tool offset setting
- Knowledge of cutting tools selection and tooling parameters
- Experience in Fanuc control systems
- Ability to optimize cycle time and improve productivity
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance control
- Experience in handling precision components
- knowledge of instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, Bore Dial gauge & Height gauge, etc.)
- Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices
- Knowledge of safety standards and shop floor discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field
