Key Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
Scan items and process purchases accurately.
Accept cash, credit/debit cards, digital payments, and provide correct change.
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and gift cards according to company policies.
Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
Answer customer questions and resolve basic concerns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
Assist with bagging purchases and promoting store loyalty programs or special offers.
Follow company procedures for cash handling and loss prevention.
Support other store operations, such as stocking shelves or organizing merchandise, as needed.
