We are hiring a motivated and hands-on Junior Automation Engineer to support programming, electrical design, and commissioning of advanced laser systems, CNC automation, and custom industrial machines. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build strong fundamentals in PLC programming, control systems, and machine integration.
- Assist in designing electrical layouts and wiring diagrams using EPlan / AutoCAD Electrical.
- Support PLC programming for basic machine logic, I/O mapping, and interlocks under senior guidance.
- Help configure and test HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC, TIA Portal, etc.).
- Assist in setup and basic tuning of servo drives, VFDs, and stepper motors.
- Support integration of sensors, actuators, safety devices, and fieldbus communication (Profinet, Modbus, etc.).
- Participate in machine assembly, wiring, and in-house testing.
- Assist in on-site commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support activities.
- Work closely with mechanical and senior automation engineers for system integration.
- Prepare and maintain documentation such as wiring schedules, BOMs, and basic electrical drawings.
- Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) processes.
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering.
- 0–3 years of experience or strong academic/project exposure in industrial automation.
- Basic knowledge of:
- PLC Programming (Siemens / Mitsubishi / Allen-Bradley – training acceptable)
- HMI/SCADA systems
- Electrical circuits, panel wiring, and industrial components
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and understand control logic.
- Willingness to travel for site work and commissioning.
- Strong learning attitude and problem-solving mindset.
- Exposure to TIA Portal, GX Works, or Studio 5000
- Familiarity with servo systems or CNC/automation basics
- Hands-on experience from internships or projects
- Basic understanding of industrial communication protocols
- EPlan / AutoCAD Electrical (basic usage)
- PLC & HMI software (training provided if required)
- Basic electrical testing tools (multimeter, etc.)
- Structured training on PLCs, laser systems, and CNC automation
