Role - Area Business Manager, International Watches - SAARC
1. Scope of the role
- Manage business across SAARC countries – Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and others.
- Retail Operations for partner kiosk, dealer outlet and NTO’s. Work on putting the Retail KPI’S at our Kiosk Channel and enhance the overall Retail Standards to ensure we hit our planned goals.
- Develop/expansion and manage the Titan exclusive Kiosk program and uplift the profile and performance of kiosks through various BTL’s and value add service.
- Identifying new channels/chains, which will lead to overall business growth, discuss & strategize Titan’s plan with them and make it happen.
- Maintain the existing business and relationship of Titan with the NTO chain
- Manage online platforms and to make sure that Titan has a great presence in the top marketplace with brand SIS, A+ content, listing of relevant merchandise and prepare a marketing calendar for each marketplace which is in align with the platform plans.
- Identifying new partners for new countries within Africa
- Management of existing partners and retail staff.
- Trade/ Channel Marketing for key chains
- Merchandising & VM plan and make sure it is as per the guidelines.
- An Individual contributor who will be responsible to develop store wise, location wise Planogram in alignment with the brand guidelines.
2. Job Profile
- Co-ordinate with channel partners (eg brand distributor, chains, LFS) to develop and roll out appropriate trade marketing / activation /VM / Other inputs programs that will drive desired growth and share in secondary channels
- To work on VM hygiene at Retail Channels to ensure it is as per brand guidelines.
- Weekly/Monthly retail audit for all partner stores in the region
- To work closely with the partner & chains and drive secondary sales and develop understanding with big chains.
- Ensuring brand presence is increased and strengthened, optimizing product assortment and promotional strategy
- Lead the development of channel marketing strategies which are aligned to the brand strategy to achieve the business objectives in key chains and modern trade channels
- Maintain strong understanding of key category/ channel trends to help design most effective activations.
- Key Account management including developing and creating Key Accounts, building and nurturing strong relationships with them. Including developing annual plans / promo calendars and co-creation of chain/ channel specific activations(offers/ promos/ visibility/ motivation tools etc)
- Creation and execution of yearly/ quarterly/ monthly retailer wise/region wise marketing calendar for field- including in-store promotions, offers, visibility.
- Ensure plans are well executed and monitored (through timely communications to sales team and retailers, execution follow up and effective target setting) Analysis of impact of activation after end of event and explain the outcome to sales/KAM teams
- Coordination with Supply Chain team for ensuring timely availability of required stocks including sharing of forecast, additional requirements etc.

Work Experience
Education: MBA or equivalent
Location: Based out of Bangalore with a proficiency in English
Exp: 2-5 years of retail experience and channel management.

- Team management – how to get work done. Should be smart enough to give results with the available internal and external resources.
