Job Description
An Accounts Executive ensures that all financial transactions are recorded accurately, tax compliance is met, and financial reports are ready for management. You are the "guardian of the ledger," making sure every penny is accounted for.
Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintaining and updating company ledgers and recording daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts).
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and following up with clients for outstanding dues.
- Tax Compliance: Preparing and filing monthly/quarterly tax returns such as GST and TDS (or local tax equivalents like VAT/Sales Tax).
- Bank Reconciliation: Comparing the company's records against bank statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements and Balance Sheets.
- Audit Support: Preparing documentation and schedules for internal and statutory audits.
Education & Qualifications
