The Senior Technician – Maintenance (Mechanical) is responsible for carrying out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities on plant machinery and equipment. The role ensures smooth production operations by minimizing downtime, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and maintaining equipment reliability.

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement corrective actions.

Conduct routine inspections of machines and equipment.

Assist in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new equipment.

Ensure proper lubrication and maintenance schedules are followed.

Maintain maintenance records and service reports.

Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to minimize machine downtime.

Monitor machine performance and suggest improvements.

Ensure availability and proper usage of maintenance tools and spare parts.

Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

Train and guide junior technicians when required.

ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, Maintenance, or related field.

5–8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing, foundry, fabrication, engineering, or industrial plants.

Experience in handling hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and production equipment is preferred.
