Job Title: Horticulture Supervisor
Location: Mullanpur (Imperial Golf Course)
Position Overview:
The Horticulture Supervisor is responsible for maintaining and enhancing landscape quality across the golf course and surrounding areas. This role involves supervising gardening staff, ensuring proper plant care, and maintaining high aesthetic standards in line with premium golf course expectations.
Key Responsibilities:Landscape & Garden Management
- Oversee maintenance of lawns, greens, plants, shrubs, and trees across the golf course.
- Ensure proper mowing, pruning, watering, fertilizing, and pest control activities.
- Maintain turf quality as per golf course standards.
Supervision & Team Management
- Supervise gardeners and landscaping staff on daily tasks.
- Allocate duties and monitor performance.
- Train staff on horticulture best practices and safety procedures.
Plant Health & Maintenance
- Identify plant diseases, pest issues, and nutrient deficiencies.
- Ensure timely treatment using appropriate fertilizers and pesticides.
- Maintain seasonal plantation and landscaping plans.
Irrigation Management
- Monitor irrigation systems and ensure efficient water usage.
- Schedule watering cycles based on seasonal requirements.
Inventory & Resource Management
- Maintain stock of seeds, fertilizers, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate procurement of horticulture materials.
Quality & Aesthetic Standards
- Ensure landscape presentation meets premium golf course standards.
- Regular inspection of greens, fairways, and decorative areas.
Reporting & Coordination
- Maintain records of maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with facility and golf operations teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma / Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in landscaping or golf course maintenance.
- Knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems.
- Strong team handling and supervisory skills.
- Basic knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and plant care.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in golf courses, resorts, or large township projects.
- Familiarity with high-end landscape maintenance standards.
