Vendor Developer - responsibilities includes expanding the Manufacturing network strategically. Understanding of Industrial clusters in India. Ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of manufacturing process like CNC Machining, Casting, Forging, Plastic Injection, and Sheet Metal Fabrication etc. Strong interpersonal skills, good vocabulary skills in English and local language.
Qualifications and Skills:
Knowledge of Manufacturing Technologies (B-Tech/B- Engineering Mechanical)
2+years of experience in Manufacturing Industry or a similar industry.
Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
Ability to set strategies in place and drive process improvement
excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in English and the local language.
Job Role:
New vendor Development, Coordination & Support
Knowledge of Manufacturing Drawing reading
Drawing segregation as per project.
Selection of supplier & drawing distribution as per their capacity.
To educate vendor about quality, to meet company requirement.
Interaction with supplier to fulfil design requirement.
To complete manufacturing of project with time limit.
Follow-up for mfg. parts from vendor
Hold technical discussions with suppliers to identify and implement improvements in products.
Technical knowledge of Machining, costing, ERP
Purchasing cycle from procure to pay (P2P)
Key Skills:
Good in Planning, Execution, follow-up
Good communication skill, Negotiation skill
Good vendor database in Mumbai region
