The Associate shall be primarily responsible for managing and providing legal services to real estate developers, promoters, landowners, and real estate agents in relation to various aspects of real estate law, litigation, documentation, registration, and regulatory compliance, including but not limited to:
· Real estate documentation, drafting, vetting, and execution of Agreements for Sale, Conveyance Deeds, Development Agreements, Joint Development Agreements, Lease Deeds, Leave and License Agreements, Powers of Attorney, and other property-related instruments.
· Title due diligence, title investigation, preparation of title reports, and verification of ownership, marketability of title, and encumbrances.
· Registration of documents before the appropriate Registration Authorities and coordination with government departments for completion of registration formalities.
· Advisory and compliance services under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA), including project registration, agent registration, regulatory filings, disclosures, and ongoing compliance requirements.
· Representing and assisting clients in litigation and dispute resolution before Civil Courts, Consumer Commissions, RERA Authorities, RERA Appellate Tribunals, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), High Courts, and other judicial, quasi-judicial, and regulatory forums, as may be required.
· Drafting and filing of plaints, written statements, petitions, applications, affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, legal notices, replies, and other pleadings.
· Assisting in matters relating to insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, recovery actions, contractual disputes, property disputes, consumer disputes, and regulatory proceedings.
· Court appearances, briefing senior counsel, case management, legal research, preparation of case notes, and coordination with advocates, clients, and court officials.
· Legal advisory in relation to land acquisition, project structuring, development rights, municipal approvals, sanctions, and statutory compliances.
· Liaising and coordinating with clients, registration offices, municipal authorities, revenue authorities, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
· Conducting legal research and providing legal opinions in relation to property laws, contract laws, corporate laws, insolvency laws, RERA, municipal laws, and allied legislations.
Requirements:
· LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
· Enrolled with the Bar Council or awaiting enrolment.
· Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
· Interest in Real Estate Laws, Property Documentation, Registration, and RERA Compliance.
· Proficiency in MS Office and legal documentation.
· Ability to handle multiple assignments and work within timelines.
