Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Sales Engineer with experience in the Electronic Components industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, developing customer relationships, generating RFQs, and managing sales activities across the Northern India market.
The role requires a strong blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and customer relationship management skills. The candidate will operate from Delhi NCR and work closely with internal engineering, marketing, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and develop new customers and market opportunities across Northern India.
- Generate qualified leads through digital platforms, industry databases, networking, and personal contacts.
- Conduct cold calls, customer introductions, presentations, and business meetings.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and convert opportunities into business.
Customer Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM and EMS customers.
- Regularly visit customers to understand requirements and strengthen engagement.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention while protecting existing business interests.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to gain a competitive advantage.
Sales & Account Management
- Generate and follow up on customer enquiries and RFQs.
- Coordinate with engineering and application teams for technical discussions, quotations, samples, and datasheets.
- Follow up on sample evaluations, commercial discussions, purchase orders, and payments.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue objectives.
Reporting & ERP Management
- Update lead status, customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in ERP/CRM systems.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and sales records.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, market intelligence reports, and business forecasts.
Marketing & Promotional Activities
- Support branding and promotional initiatives.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for product launches and promotional campaigns.
- Participate in domestic and international trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and customer events.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer relationship and persuasion abilities.
- Good understanding of electronic components (Passive & Active Components).
- Knowledge of Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Power Electronics, and Industrial Electronics markets.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently from a remote location.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM tools.
