About the Role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic MERN Stack Developer who is passionate about building modern web applications and exploring the latest advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLMs). This role is ideal for developers with hands-on experience in the MERN stack who are eager to integrate AI capabilities into real-world applications.
You will be responsible for developing scalable full-stack applications, integrating AI services, building intelligent features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable web applications using the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI.
- Design and develop secure RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design, optimize, and manage MongoDB databases for performance and scalability.
- Integrate AI services using APIs such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar LLM providers.
- Build AI-powered features including:
- AI Chatbots
- Content Generation
- Document Intelligence
- Semantic Search
- AI-assisted Automation
- Implement effective Prompt Engineering techniques to improve AI-generated responses.
- Work with AI concepts such as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and vector search where applicable.
- Collaborate with designers, product teams, and developers throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Debug, optimize, and improve application performance and reliability.
- Follow clean coding standards, Git workflows, and software development best practices.
Required Technical SkillsMERN Stack
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or Material UI.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for version control.
AI & Generative AI
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience integrating AI services such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, or similar APIs.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering and AI-assisted application development.
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts.
- Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI frameworks is preferred.
- Basic understanding of vector databases such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, or Weaviate is an added advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 6 Months to 2 Years of hands-on experience in MERN Stack development.
- Internship, academic, freelance, or personal projects involving AI/LLM technologies are highly valued.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience deploying applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and basic DevOps practices.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
- Experience building AI-enabled SaaS products or workflow automation solutions.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or AI search systems is a plus.
