Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
* Verify prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
* Provide clear instructions to patients regarding medication usage, dosage, and precautions.
* Maintain proper records of medicines issued, received, and returned.
* Ensure proper storage of medicines according to required temperature and safety conditions.
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of medicines.
* Check expiry dates and remove expired/damaged medicines as per hospital policy.
* Maintain controlled-drug and high-alert medication records where applicable.
* Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
* Assist in inventory audits and periodic stock verification.
* Follow hospital policies, pharmacy regulations, and infection-control and safety standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
