MEP Project Manager
The MEP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects within the approved scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines. The role involves managing project teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors, and ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and execute MEP projects from initiation to final handover.
- Develop project execution plans, schedules, manpower deployment plans, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within the approved budget.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and other stakeholders for smooth project execution.
- Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
- Lead site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and project support teams.
- Ensure installation activities comply with approved drawings, quality standards, and applicable codes.
- Monitor procurement activities and ensure timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress reports to management.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Manage project costs, variations, change orders, and commercial implications.
- Review and approve billing, measurements, subcontractor invoices, and project cost reports.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality management systems, and company policies.
- Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, snag rectification, and project handover.
- Maintain project documentation, including reports, correspondence, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 8-12 years of experience in MEP project execution, with at least 3–5 years in a project management role.
- Proven experience in commercial, residential, industrial, healthcare, metro, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, ELV, and Utility systems.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, contracts, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures, testing and commissioning, and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Knowledge of project budgeting, cost control, and contract administration.

- Site-based role with travel to multiple project locations as required.
- Coordination with internal departments, consultants, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Ability to work under project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
