Role Objective
The Junior Operations Executive shall be responsible for assisting in the smooth and accurate execution of travel operations under the supervision of the Senior Operations Team. The role focuses on reservation processing, documentation support, vendor coordination, data accuracy, and compliance with operational SOPs to ensure timely and error-free service delivery.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in processing hotel bookings, transportation, tours, activities, visas, and other ground services for FIT/GIT/MICE movements.
- Prepare draft itineraries, vouchers, service confirmations, and operational documents for review by seniors.
- Maintain accurate reservation records, costing sheets, supplier confirmations, and documentation files.
- Follow all operational SOPs, internal checklists, and documentation protocols strictly.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for booking confirmations and service updates under supervision.
- Ensure timely sharing of confirmations, amendments, and revisions as instructed.
- Support in preparing invoices and cross-checking booking details for accuracy.
- Maintain written and traceable communication records in official email/CRM systems.
- Assist in handling minor operational queries and escalate major issues to seniors immediately.
- Support in monitoring payment schedules and booking status updates.
- Maintain confidentiality of pricing, contracts, and internal operational data.
- Ensure punctuality, discipline, structured communication, and adherence to company reporting standards.
Mandatory Skill Requirements & Competency Standards
- Proven experience of 6 month – 1 years in DMC Operations / Travel Operations / B2B Travel Sector.
- Basic understanding of international destinations (Azerbaijan / Georgia / Uzbekistan / Kazakhstan preferred).
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Good written and verbal English with professional email drafting ability.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under supervision and meet defined deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and documentation handling.
- Attention to detail with high accuracy orientation.
Qualification Criteria
- Graduate in Tourism / Hospitality / Business Administration or related field.
- Travel certification (IATA / UFTAA) preferred but not mandatory.
Non-Compliance & Disciplinary Consequences
Failure to meet assigned responsibilities may result in:
- Verbal or Written Warning
- Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
- Salary Deduction (as per Company Policy)
- Suspension / Termination in case of repeated negligence or misconduct
