About the Opportunity:
We are seeking someone with experience in software quality engineering to lead our test automation initiatives and help transform our quality engineering practices. This role combines deep technical expertise with people leadership, driving the adoption of modern automation frameworks, AI-assisted quality engineering practices, and continuous testing across globally distributed teams.
The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering high-quality software, enjoys mentoring engineers, and has experience building scalable automation solutions that integrate seamlessly into modern CI/CD pipelines. Given the customer-centric nature of this role, candidates with experience in an IT Services or Consulting organization are strongly preferred, as they will regularly collaborate with implementation and delivery teams supporting customers across multiple geographies.
Where you will make an impact

Drive the design, development, and execution of comprehensive test strategies covering functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.

Technical Responsibility:
-
Building and maintaining UI (Playwright/Selenium) and API (Postman/REST Assured) automation suites that scale across multiple deployments.

Development of performance and security tests (JMeter/K6, OWASP ZAP) and integrate them into Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Drive the adoption of AI-assisted testing capabilities to improve automation productivity, test generation, maintenance, intelligent test selection, and defect prediction.

Process and Enablement:
-
Collaborate with project managers, DevOps engineers, and customer SMEs to embed continuous testing throughout delivery.

Review and improve test automation code for reliability, maintainability, and speed.

Create and share dashboards and reports through tools such as SpiraTest or Azure DevOps to communicate quality metrics clearly.

Champion Shift-Left testing, continuous testing, and Quality Engineering best practices.

Client Engagement

Partner with higher-education institutions to capture testing requirements, demonstrate automation capabilities, and align with regulatory needs.

Act as a knowledgeable advisor on modern quality-engineering techniques, advocating for shift-left and risk-based testing strategies.
What you will bring

Strong expertise in manual testing methodologies and test design techniques.

Hands-on expertise with two or more of the following: Playwright, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, K6, Gatling, OWASP ZAP.

Proficiency in scripting with TypeScript/JavaScript or Python; experience with Git, CI/CD tools.

Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an IT Services, Consulting, or Customer Delivery organization, supporting enterprise software implementations.

Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and GenAI-based automation techniques.

Experience with enterprise SaaS products and cloud-based applications.
