Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Packing / Dispatch Supervisor to manage packing activities, dispatch planning, loading coordination, and timely delivery of materials/products. The candidate should ensure proper packaging standards, inventory accuracy, and smooth coordination with production, stores, and transport teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packing and dispatch operations.
- Ensure proper packing quality and safe handling of materials/products.
- Coordinate with production and store departments for dispatch schedules.
- Prepare dispatch documents such as challans, invoices, E-way bills, and delivery notes.
- Monitor loading/unloading activities and vehicle movement.
- Maintain dispatch records, stock updates, and delivery status reports.
- Ensure materials are dispatched on time as per delivery commitments.
- Manage manpower and allocate packing tasks efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace discipline.
- Coordinate with transport vendors and drivers for smooth deliveries.
- Reduce dispatch errors, damages, and material shortages.
- Conduct regular checks on packing materials and inventory availability.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of packing and dispatch processes
- Basic understanding of inventory management
- Good coordination and communication skills
- Ability to manage manpower and deadlines
- Knowledge of MS Excel and dispatch documentation
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualification
- Graduate / Diploma / HSC
- Additional logistics or warehouse knowledge will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in manufacturing or interior/furniture industry preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple dispatches
- Good team handling and coordination skills
- Responsible, disciplined, and process-oriented
Salary : 25k-35k
