Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues, including RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, power supply, and peripheral problems.
- Install and configure Windows operating systems, drivers, applications, and security updates.
- Perform preventive maintenance of computers and other IT equipment.
- Manage IT hardware inventory, asset tagging, allocation, and records.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware purchases, repairs, warranties, and replacements.
- Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, and connectivity issues.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to users.
- Maintain records of IT incidents, repairs, replacements, and service requests.
- Assist with IT asset procurement and ensure equipment is properly configured before deployment.
- Support data backup, antivirus, endpoint security, and basic IT security practices.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Windows OS and common business applications.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, switches, and routers.
- Knowledge of printers and other office peripherals.
- Hardware installation, configuration, and preventive maintenance.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to IT support requests.
Qualification
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Relevant hardware/networking certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA, or equivalent are an advantage.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
