ob PurposeThe Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring smooth operation of all restaurant equipment and facilities across multiple outlets by performing preventive maintenance, attending breakdowns, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining statutory compliance. The role focuses on minimizing equipment downtime while maintaining food safety and operational standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPreventive Maintenance
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) as per the approved maintenance schedule.
- Ensure 100% PM compliance across assigned restaurants.
- Maintain detailed PM records and equipment history.
Breakdown Maintenance
- Attend electrical, refrigeration, kitchen equipment, plumbing, and civil breakdowns.
- Diagnose faults and restore equipment with minimum downtime.
- Escalate critical issues to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

Store Maintenance
- Conduct daily equipment health checks.
- Ensure all utilities are operational before restaurant opening.
- Support new store opening, refurbishment, and closure activities.
- Coordinate with operations to minimize business disruption.
Utility Monitoring
- Monitor electricity, water, LPG/PNG, and diesel consumption.
- Identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Report abnormal utility consumption.
Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with OEMs and AMC vendors.
- Verify service reports and work completion.
- Follow up on pending repairs and spare parts.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Maintain Fire Safety equipment readiness.
- Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures.
- Maintain food safety standards during maintenance activities.
Documentation
- Update maintenance logs and service reports.
- Maintain spare parts inventory.
- Submit daily work reports.
- Update CMMS/FMS (if applicable).
Team Support
- Guide and mentor junior technicians.
- Train restaurant staff on proper equipment usage.
- Support emergency maintenance during weekends, holidays, and night shifts when required.
