Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Curriculum:
- Deliver lectures and tutorials in English language, literature, critical theory, and communication skills.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
- Research & Scholarship:
- Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed journals and books.
- Attend and present at academic conferences and workshops.
- Seek research grants and funding.
- Student Mentorship:
- Provide academic, career, and project guidance to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Mentor students on dissertations and other academic pursuits.
- Service & Administration:
- Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and curriculum design.
- Assist with student recruitment, admissions, and placement activities.
- Contribute to outreach programs and departmental events.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on new developments in English studies.
- Engage in continuous learning through workshops and seminars.
