We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Steel Structure Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel structures for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with international building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural Analysis & Design: Perform complex calculations and modeling for structural steel components using software like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS.
- Code Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant standards such as AISC (ASD/LRFD), ASCE 7, and local building codes.
- Detailed Engineering: Develop comprehensive design drawings, including connection details (bolted and welded), base plates, and framing plans.
- Material Specification: Select appropriate steel grades and protective coatings based on environmental factors and load requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, project managers, and fabricators to resolve design conflicts and optimize for constructability.
- Technical Review: Conduct peer reviews of design calculations and shop drawings to maintain high-quality standards.
Technical Skills & Qualifications Requirement Description Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Experience 3–7 years of experience specifically in structural steel design.Software Mastery Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and analysis tools (e.g., Tekla Structures, RISA-3D).Technical Knowledge Deep understanding of static and dynamic loading, wind engineering, and seismic design.Certifications PE (Professional Engineer) or SE (Structural Engineer) license is highly preferred.### Core Competencies

Pay: ₹13,488.50 - ₹69,353.88 per month
